Get answers to common questions about Classic (Gel).
Most clients enjoy chip-free gel toes for two to four weeks, depending on growth and wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals, wear protective footwear when possible, and schedule maintenance visits for trims or reapplication to keep results pristine.
We use high-quality, hypoallergenic products when requested and perform a patch test for known sensitivities. Inform your technician about allergies or skin reactions so we can select gentle formulas or recommend an alternate service.
The Classic (Gel) pedicure focuses on natural nail care and polish. If you want extensions or enhancements, ask about our specialized services. We offer gel overlays and extension options as an upgrade or during a separate appointment.
Arrive with clean, polish-free nails and avoid applying lotions to the nail plate. Wear comfortable open-toe shoes and remove prosthetic nail enhancements if possible. If you have fungal or contagious conditions, please disclose them for safety.
We safely remove gel polish using gentle filing and an acetone soak to protect the natural nail. Removal typically takes 10–20 minutes and includes careful buffing and moisturizing to maintain nail health.
We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes to allow the gel to fully cure and harden. If your polish feels tacky, avoid tight closed-toe shoes to prevent smudging; sandals are best immediately after your visit.
